You hold me in your arms and like the bars of a song...I feel there's nowhere better I belong.

We love arms wide in a field of daisies, squinting through our lashes against the sun in our eyes. Its a new dress and someone to make you pancakes (even in the afternoon). A carousel, fairy floss all over your fingers and the smell of your boyfriend's T-shirt. 

Knowing the reason doesn't really give me clarity it just makes me feel so sorry for eighteen year old me who mourned for you and that summer, who's heart was broken over some ridiculous suspicion you had. I guess everything does happen for a reason and fate has a way of stepping in and stopping the things that just aren't meant to be. It is nice to know that you didn't forget about me though, that I stayed floating around in your mind for the last two years, and you finally realise what a good thing you let slip away. We all learn from the things that happen to us and I guess you're learning yours the hard way. I still see you in the best of light you were a lovely thing for that time in my life, a time I will always look back on and smile. But that time has gone now, I have grown up and I have found love in the most amazing of places. Thank you for finally clearing up the cob webs i'm sorry you had to ruin a perfectly good thing. 

 Because of you, I laugh, I smile, I dare to dream again.
 

Days&Nights like these remind me that all I want is more Days&Nights like these, that everything will be right in the world as long as I have Days&Nights like these...with you. Dancing in aisles at K-Mart and looking at all the colourful utensils we want to buy for our home, that we haven't got yet,  and the rooster place mats we'd buy and never use. Getting excited about the prospect of having 'our' meals...you know the meals we cook on a regular basis...that we've mastered the craft of. Maybe it's inane to make so many plans, to put so much pressure on the future, but we do it, because right now You&Me...that's the future. Forever....always.
